DNA Aquatics – Aqua Fitness at Kepnock Pool Get Fit, Stay Strong, and Have Fun – From September to April Dive into fitness with DNA Aquatics’ Aqua Fitness program at the stunning outdoor Kepnock 25m pool. Running from September through April, our water-based classes offer a low-impact, high-results workout for all ages and abilities. Why Aqua Fitness? Water fitness is gentle on the joints but tough on calories. The natural resistance of water improves cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, flexibility, and balance — all while reducing the risk of injury. It’s the ideal environment for rehabilitation, cross-training, or simply staying active in a fun and social setting. Our Aqua Fitness Classes: • Aqua Aerobics (45 min) A dynamic full-body workout combining cardio and strength moves. Great for all fitness levels, this class keeps you moving to upbeat music with a blend of resistance and aerobic exercises. • Deep Water Aerobics (45 min) Held in the deep end using buoyancy equipment (no belts), this no-impact workout enhances core stability, improves endurance, and challenges coordination and strength in a supportive environment. • Weight No More (45 min) Specifically designed for those recovering from injury, managing medical conditions, or preparing for/rehabbing from surgery. Includes a helper in the pool for added support and confidence. • Poolate (1 hour) A refreshing take on Pilates – water-based! Improve core strength, flexibility, and posture with flowing, controlled movements using the natural resistance of water. • Aqua Tabata (30 & 45 min classes) High-intensity interval training (HIIT) in the water! Push your limits with bursts of intense exercise followed by short recovery periods – designed to burn calories and boost fitness fast. • Aqua30 (30 min) Short on time but ready to work hard? This fast-paced, energising class has no breaks – it’s go-go-go from start to finish, making every minute count. • DNA Aqua KickFit (Variable duration) A lane-based workout using fins and kickboards to complete structured kick sets up and down the pool. Perfect for building leg strength, stamina, and cardio fitness in a disciplined swim training format.
